The Television Area Chair invites interested scholars to submit papers on any aspect of television (current or past shows, content, as a media format, etc.) for the 2007 conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Conference Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

If you are interested in being a presenter in this area, please send a 100-250 word abstract, including paper/presentation title, via email to the address below. In addition, please provide your contact information: name, institutional mailing address, home address, phone numbers, and email. The DEADLINE for proposal submissions is NOVEMBER 15, 2006.

If you would like to propose a panel of 3-4 speakers, please include the following:

Panel title

Name and contact information for the Panel Chair

Titles and abstracts of each paper

Contact information for each presenter

You may also propose a discussion panel of 3-6 participants (simply provide the same info as listed above).

All presenters must register by December 31, 2006. Registration is available online at SW/Texas PCA/ACA website: http://www.h-net.org/~swpca. All participants who register before December 15th will pay the reduced, priority rate, while those who register between December 15th and the 31st will pay the full conference rate.
