Constructing Identities: Art, Architecture and Medieval Rulership
The Art and Practice of Medieval Queenship
The sessions are sponsored by Majestas, an international society of scholars who work on the political, economic, legal, social, and/or artistic aspects of medieval rulership which includes not only kings, but also queens, princes, bishops, abbots, the nobility, and town governments. Our membership is extensive and composed of the best in the field as well as young scholars. Majestas' approach and raison d'κtre is comparative--all medieval periods, geographies, and disciplines.
