Already for the eleventh time, the Akademie is granting fellowships for artists from the following disciplines: architecture, visual arts, performing arts, video/film/new media, design, literature and music/sound.
Since 1990, Akademie Schloss Solitude has operated an international residency program supporting young artists as a public foundation. A close-knit worldwide alumni network of these artists has evolved and continues to revolve around Akademie Schloss Solitude. Hundreds of fellows from more than 70 countries have used the Akademie to realize and advance their work and projects. With the art, science & business program, the Akademie has offered young talented individuals from the humanities, sciences and business world the possibility to participate in this network and to expand it since 2002. This is made possible by the financial support of the Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the Stiftung Landesbank Baden-Württemberg: arts and culture.
