Queen’s University Belfast Lecturer in Modern European History

Applications are invited for the above position tenable from 1 October 2006 or such other date as may be agreed. This appointment is part of a programme of investment in History at Queen’s to build on its record of strength in research and teaching.
Applicants must hold a primary degree, or equivalent, involving History and a completed PhD in History or a cognate discipline. It is also essential to have relevant teaching experience at university level; published work demonstrating the potential to contribute to maintaining or improving the School’s current RAE grade; and a research focus on continental European history in the 20th century. Salary scale: £28,009 - £41,133 per annum (includes contribution points)
