Tenure Track: The professor will teach undergraduate survey and upper level courses in American History (including African-American History), World History, and Non-western History Ability to teach in the non-western field, especially African History and Middle-Eastern History is highly desirable. Applicants may also be required to teach graduate courses.
Ph. D. in History from an accredited institution: commitment to the mission of an 1890 land grant HBCU (see http://www.uapb.edu); evidence of promise in research and publication highly desirable.
